Marne + Sean was a sweet and tender celebration. First we set out at Saint Monica’s Catholic Church for the wedding ceremony itself. Thereafter we jaunted over to the ever elegant Casa Del Mar for the reception. Here is a preview picture from the wedding, I’ll post more later on in the week as I get through more editing of the images.
This was an instance of waiting for your shot. There was a seeming never ending amount of traffic crossing the dance floor, dirtying up my clean shot that I imagined. So I waited and waited for all the dancers to be in a good position, I moved enough to have separation between the people, and after all the traffic finally cleared, I finally got the shot I wanted. I probably waited a good 5 minutes for this shot, but it was well worth it as it exudes the atmosphere of the dancers. All of the dresses for this wedding, from the brides gown to the bridesmaids dresses, the junior bridesmaids dresses to the flower girls dresses were made by Marne and Sean’s grandmothers. Their handywork, and great fit of all the dresses to all of the girls is remarkable.

Another Summer is upon us and students from all over the world are eagerly learning English as a Second Language at CSUN. From our initiative games to grammar to essays to excursions all over the Southland, to our excitement and focus learning English, my July 2010 was loaded with fun experiences.

Putting our thoughts on paper…in English.

We laughed!

We posed to look good in our photographs.

We like to take breaks too!

We played relay animals for the silly fun of it!

We begin our teamwork, cooperation and respectful attitude with the can exercise.

The can exercise.

Who will touch it first?

We posed for our official class portrait…..in where else….the fabulous parking structure. My students were surprised at the lighting, and cool compositions.

Line ups initiative games….we made loads of lineups in our first days together to build positivity, cooperation, teamwork, and leadership.

Our personalities emerge with a bit of action involved. Love backlighting.

Two cousins on the trip together, so of course they needed at least one photo of themselves together for their memories.
Rosario and Andrew’s wedding was a charming event at the Roccoco Room in Pasadena.
